Welcome to Mouse's Blog. Daily updates you will not see. From time to time I will make changes, so that "family" can see if I am still active and alive. Other things are keeping me busy, but that's OK too. Hope you enjoy the photos and snipits.

Photos of Crocketts Cove and a visit from the Hawaiians - Tom and Claudia. Nothing like a lobster picnic on the beach.

What could be nicer than to wake up to lovely fog floating across the Cove early in the morning!

Been very delinquent with posting things on my blog -- SORRY! Getting ready for Vero Beach and have been busy with "other" stuff.Abby is hanging up her Xmas hat and getting ready for the warmer weather. She is enjoying the freedom on her walks in the woods "off leash" and meeting other dogs on her treks. I will try and be better in the future.

The Villages - April 2009

So this is our 4th day at The Villages - We have played golf twice and pickleball once - I have gone swimming once in one of the hundreds of recreation pools, while Sam has taken Abby on many, many walks around the neighborhood. The weather is lovely - I am getting a head start on my summer tan and looking forward to children and grand children arriving next week for a short stay. We will be driving down to Orlando to Sea World for a day - and enjoy shuffleboard, bocce ball and lots of other games with the kids. the photo here is Sam trying to figure out how to get on line and get his email way down here in Florida...... More Later.

Visit to Mt. Dora and Zero Beach

I had a wonderful time visiting my two friends in Mt. Dora - a wonderful un-Florida-like town about an hour north of Orlando. Bonnie & Margot, two dogs and two cats now live there for the cold northern months. We enjoyed the somewhat "cool for them" weather (in the 50's-60's) with nice dog walks, a canal ride where we saw lots of birds (no alligators!), great food - although I did lose 3 pounds (Bonnie and I worked out every day). Spent a rainy day driving down to Vero Beach - had a nice lunch with J and went to visit Dad (almost 97!!!!), who really had NO CLUE who I was - but that's OK! It was nice to get away and spend time with friends.
