I had a wonderful time visiting my two friends in Mt. Dora - a wonderful un-Florida-like town about an hour north of Orlando. Bonnie & Margot, two dogs and two cats now live there for the cold northern months. We enjoyed the somewhat "cool for them" weather (in the 50's-60's) with nice dog walks, a canal ride where we saw lots of birds (no alligators!), great food - although I did lose 3 pounds (Bonnie and I worked out every day). Spent a rainy day driving down to Vero Beach - had a nice lunch with J and went to visit Dad (almost 97!!!!), who really had NO CLUE who I was - but that's OK! It was nice to get away and spend time with friends.
Love the chair pic-you ought to print it, frame it and hang it in your house! I wonder if your Dad will make it to 100? Good physical genes in your family-too bad about his not recognizing you.
